Well, this is pretty nerve-wracking, but I finally uploaded some music I composed. It's just four songs, between college and everything happening in Retrospec, I've been, well, pretty busy this year. But I hope to compose more soon!
Anyway... you can listen to them here. Please enjoy them.
And in less good news ... I had a rather troubling conversation with a ghost...
According to him, our Earth isn't what it seems. Apparently, while Recolle's real and stable, the rest of the world is actually a recreation of other Earths. It was made to be a centralized hub for planets across the galaxy that were destroyed, and Recolle's essentially the capital. It was all formed and balanced from the soul energy being generated by this city and the people here, and it's not exactly stable.
Good news, all the people outside of Recolle in this world are real, so it's not like our lives were fake. But bad news, if anything should happen to Recolle, the rest of the world would disintegrate. So...no pressure?
Oh, and has anyone heard anything about a river of souls beneath Recolle? A friend heard about it from another ghost, but we don't know much.
Sorry for all the troubling news. This isn't how I expected this post to go.

Well, the songs are great and I'm gonna be kicking you as much money as I can for them, but the rest of that is...
I mean. What I'm getting (among all this other stuff) is that if we're here now, it's because we were literally born to be here, right now, in this moment. And that we need to make sure the city stays safe, because if anything happens to it, the world disappears.
Consider the stakes fuckin' raised.

Yeah...that's a good thing to take away from it. We're meant to help protect this city and entire world....along with restore everything else.
Noooo pressure, right?

Maybe the pressure's on, but it's hard to feel too worried about it. Not to be scene on main, but we were born for this. We got this.

[Okay so, that's a crazy impressive way to look at it.]
I...I never heard it put that way. Haha, you make it sound really cool said like that. Like an action hero! Especially with the touch of cool music!

For real, though. I don't think anything's a sure thing, and I think we're gonna have to fight harder than some of us have ever fought before. We are literally fighting for the fate of the world now. We've spent our entire lives preparing for this whether we knew it or not.
Nobody else is better prepared for what's coming next than the people in this city.

Yeah...you have a good point. It's terrifying, but it's not like there's anyone else who can do this like we can. Even if this world is a replica, we have to protect it.
I think I needed to hear something like that...so thanks.

Gotta make it out okay on the other side so you can hit it big on stage anyway.

Right! Can't let all this get in the way of that dream.

Well I've never composed a victory song before, but I'd love to give it a try.
