Does anyone know why people lose their memories when they lose their network access?

Uh. Kara's forgotten everything. I was out pouring snow on the fires, and then... yeah. Our dog's gone, too, but I guess it's because she got him from Retrospec. Most of my friends forgot, too. It feels pretty lonely around now, but... anyway, just letting you guys know.

Here, but life was getting... kind of complicated. And you're always scared of rumours and stuff, you know? At least I am.

complicated? Because of app stuff, or life stuff? Either or, I can understand.

I'm from Cali myself, I ran away and police were involved at one point to drag me into an orphanage.

So rumours kinda got around, which I used to like because I could sound all tough and what not and make people leave me alone.

They even still have orphanages? That's terrible.

It was better then sticking around in LA, or the family that adopted me there.

Wow, I can't even begin to think of what that's like.

Sorry. I shouldn't be asking that stuff. It's kinda personal.

It is, but I don't mind sharing a bit.

I essentially grew up on the streets and had to learn how to survive. The first family that adopted me were complete assholes, so I ran away from LA, got stopped here, got adopted again by good people.

Been a bit more than two years since then.

So, things can still turn out for the better, just have to pass through a whole lot of crap first.

[There are some big things he is leaving out, but, he is sharing this much to try to be a good friendly person. If they are both lonely, why not get to know each other and basically be friends? It seems like an easy win-win in his mind.]

That sounds nice. I mean, aside from the stuff that's not, obviously, but you're right, we can make things better, right? Even with all this stuff going on.

I wouldn't exactly recommend it obviously.

But yeah, things can be turned around for the better. Some people drop, and it sucks, but we can still stick together and try to be there for each other, not just in times when the city is in trouble but for the little everyday stuff too :)

I guess that's all we can do, but to be honest, it doesn't really feel like much.

It might not be much, but it's better then really being alone and having no one at all right?

Yeah. You're right. It just still feels like losing someone every time someone loses their access and their memories.

Personally, I'm fighting the fires as much as I can with my magic so I don't have to think about this stuff or at the very least try to do good instead of just feeling like crap.

I have fire magic, heat and fire do nothing to me...

It's okay, so you have a diffrent power set then me. There is nothing wrong with that.

We can figure something out, I'm sure of it.
