You know those traits that are all the craze and amplifying themselves? Well Crow's got em full swing, and his desire to help out his younger friends overpowers all else--in both everyday life and love lives. Unfortunately, it feeds right into his own self destructive behavior, so...

Hey Retrospec-ers! It's February, and you know what that means? Smmmoochessss? Hand holding. Candle light dinners~ It's a whole month dedicated to finding Mr. or Ms. Right, and with Valentine's day right smack in the center of the month, it's even generous enough to give you 2 weeks to buy discount candy. [A big question, but thankfully, one Crow's actually thought about recently. He smiles a little as he starts to type, finding a small bit of comfort in listening to a woman who admits that she has more to learn about this world, even for as wise as she is.

Those are the ones you take advice from. It's how his grandpa was, too.]

I didn't used to. I thought it constricted you to a path and you had no choice but to follow it But recently I've found that it's not so black and white, and it's kinda opened my eyes a little bit more to it

What a refreshing answer. I’m glad!

I do believe in fate, but it is as you said. You are not constricted to paths or ends as stringently as it is made out to be. We meet in this plain of sorts, yes? We converse as we would in this world, but it is a place of rest, wait and recovery. Souls who have suffered traumatic physical ends, for example, are treated in this plain until they are ready to start over.

Anyway! We make our own plans. We construct a life around the mission we may be given, whether it is to add to the world, to someone’s growth or your own. We have many friends, even our soulmates if you have found one, who we return to meet again and live with constantly, through hardships and joy, because that is how we grow. Imagine, being able to experience the wonders of searching, finding and falling in love with the soul you are tied to, as many times as you want to live?

But, some things do not always go according to plan. There are accidents, as there is the greatest gift of all. When we are born, Crow, we are given free will. That is why, in the end, we create our own fates. It is the universe’s greatest adventure.

Ahmi's words are so validating to hear. It's exactly what Crow himself had started to form as his belief, although with a much wiser, broader scope to it.

Fate, but with a choice.

Crow smiles behind the feed, reaching his palm up to fight back the start of a single tear at the corner of his eye. He was never one for BELIEFS and religion per say, but Retrospec had certainly opened his eyes to the idea of reincarnation, and how to live life knowing that your soul is on just one of many journeys.]

How do you know if you're tied to one specific person in particular? Or I guess I should say...your thoughts on the matter

I hate to sound like corn [ “corny” ] but that is something your heart knows. We feel it. Our sixth sense can tell us many things we turn our ears away from, and humans are exceptionally powerful once you’re aware. You just need to listen.

I know we’ve met, for example.

We have? How can you tell? Is it just a feeling? Or did these dashing good looks just carry over multiple past lives?

But we have! And many others. I don’t quite remember it myself, but I feel it. It pulses with life just as my heart does.

Aw damn, that's no fun... But I completely believe it. I know Rean and Elliot have shared a past life and...who knows if its more than just one Seems I was always kinda protective of Rean even back then, though

It is fun. Very fun.

But of course! I wouldn’t limit myself to what I remember. The universe is vast, and one life is so short compared to it all. Why do you think we return, if that is something you believe in?

There’s so much to do, so many people to reunite with, and so little time.
