They've chosen me to represent them for this particular event so I've been assigned the tasks of promoting the pageant while also hosting it.

[Ok, they talked about this to some extent in person, but she still felt it needed to be said. Like hell she was signing herself up, but if she knew her luck with Retrospec, they would "accidentally" sign her up again, so she was going to have a decent dress just in case.]

I would assume it's referring to these "memories" we've been experiencing lately, but I'm not entirely too sure.

[ Souji's going to pretend like they've didn't discuss any of this in person since the last thing he wants is for this to be recorded over the network and for Retrospec to know that there are discussions behind its back. ]

Hold on a minute! Does that mean someone else can sign someone up? Isn't that something that can easily be abused?

I know. It is, but there's absolutely nothing stopping the person from refusing to participate if they don't want to.

No one will be forced to partake in the event even if they're signed up and I'll personally make sure that the person gets every chance to step down.

[ Souji really doesn't want someone to be dragged into this against their will, especially after the incidents in the last event, so he's making sure that things go smoothly this time. ]
