A quick question:

What are the confirmed symptoms for spontaneous combustion?

I remember reading in some books that before some people exploded into flames and died fiery horrible deaths, there were reports of seeing sparks around the person before the combustion occurred.

Is this true or not? I really need to know right now. As in ASAP as in now as in really right now.

I'm warm with embarrassment, that's for sure. Yet also with relief since it's been kind of confirmed that I'm not going to explode.

At least in a fiery and exploding manner. Only in a shower of sparks and glitter that's harmless enough?

That's good. Though I think you wouldn't have really been able to text if you were actually on fire, I'd imagine.

Still, that's odd.

I suppose 'odd' is the best way to describe this situation in a polite manner.

I'm kind of holding on to the hope that others might experience this or it'll only last a month but there's this gut feeling that it won't be the case.

Best way I could say it without tripping any "glitches" we've been dealing with lately, honestly.

Considering what's been going on around here lately, who knows. There's been a lot of things people can't explain going on lately: first RetroSpec suddenly showing up, then the chocobos, people getting random items in the mail... you get the point.

I was very much on camp 'City wide joke' or 'Expensive social experiment' but not after this. Among a string of other sudden things that happened to the others here.

It's rather scary to think if Retrospec has anything to do with this. How can one explain a social media app causing me to sparkle? Will everyone else sparkle after this? What will happen next? [ so many questions, so little answers. much frustration, wow. ]

Don't worry, I was in the same boat at first. It lost its charm quickly.

Can't say, but none of any of this has happened before that app decided to download itself onto our phones. At least as far as I'm aware of.

I do wish there was some legal recourse or something about any of this. But what can one do? Complain about an app downloaded on their phone? Or that something that can't really be proven to be their fault really is their fault?

Siiiigh. I do notice that the sparkles are gone at least. Maybe that's how I keep them in check. Think about Retrospec and just have my good mood plummet just enough.

Yeah, it doesn't leave us with much choice, unfortunately. My boss tried to check out the code for it, too. Didn't really pan out.

Maybe. Though that's going to be a bit of a pain to try and keep your emotions in check,

Oh! I'm sorry that plan didn't work out. That was a clever way of approaching it. I've just been calling them in hopes they'll finally answer in frustration. Maybe I can use my new thing to annoy them somehow, someway.

It's part of what he does. Even beyond that, Retrospec was being enough of a pain at the time that it warranted us at least trying to take a look at it. But hey, maybe make a big enough display and they'll finally listen?

I would love for that to happen. Between the annoying sparkling and attempts to send them potatoes with googly eyes on them, I'd like to see some response. Any response from them, really.

It feels so unnerving that there hasn't been a peep from them. It almost feels like they aren't even real but look at where we are now.

I mean it'd depend on the amount of potatoes in the case of the latter, probably.

Yeah, they haven't really said much of anything, really. Granted I'm sure that the first sign of admins or higher-ups and they'll be bombarded with messages.

I've been saving up on these potatoes so hopefully there's some sort of response. At least an acknowledgement they got flooded with the stuff.

The grocery store I go to probably thinks I'm a little nuts with how often I've brought potatoes from them every week when shopping.

I mean if we get a whole bunch of people to send them in I'm sure they have to have some sort of response, anyway. Who knows. This whole thing is just odd in about every aspect.

Wouldn't that be a sight to see over at the building. A plague of potatoes! A storm of spuds! That'll teach them for doing all of this. Or make them feel puzzled as us whenever they pull one of their stunts.

I mean we could go further than the googly eyes and make it a full-on Mr. (and Mrs.) Potato Head but with real potatoes.

That's a great idea! A little bit expensive but I'm sure there's a bulk sale for toy parts somewhere in the city.
