A quick question:

What are the confirmed symptoms for spontaneous combustion?

I remember reading in some books that before some people exploded into flames and died fiery horrible deaths, there were reports of seeing sparks around the person before the combustion occurred.

Is this true or not? I really need to know right now. As in ASAP as in now as in really right now.

I'm pleased to let you know that I could not set the napkin on fire. No matter how hard I tried to. Looks like I won't become the next Pyromaster anytime soon. [ that was a relief. she won't be a threat to others at the very least. ]

I was staring at it. Like how the girl from the movie of Stephen King's novel did it when she set things on fire. Nothing happened.

I suppose I should give you context of when the sparks came the last few times:

1) When I was playing with Kara.
2) When I was finally getting around to reading some books.
3) When I was helping with some of my students with their homework.

I honestly don't see any connection with them. They're all very different things.

Since all of that is shit you do every day, but just staring at stuff isn't....

Although then that means brushing your teeth might set things on fire so I hope that theory is wrong.

So maybe there is some connection that we're just not seeing.
If it's not that then it might just be random which would suck balls.

So either an obscure thing I do triggers this and it'll be a game of trial and error to figure this out or it's at random meaning I'm at mercy of it happening anytime, anywhere.

I need, like, a million cat videos just to cheer me up over this. How on earth is this going to be explained at work besides physically throwing glitter in the air to cover it?

Technically? Only one that I know of and he's a sweetheart!

But to answer your question - Some people who don't use the app saw what happened to me. They were asking all sorts of questions and even were saying that they'll call the cops. It's why I panicked and hid a bit.

And concerning? Since at least you can try to explain things to people who have the app, but what the fuck can you say to ones who don't??

I am thinking of just carrying a pouch of glitter on me. Every time it comes up, I just throw glitter in the air too.

Though I have a feeling I'll tell get the cops called on me if I do that too many times.

Lie and say you're a performance artist and that it's a part of some art project you're working on.
People would still think you're weird but you are less likely to get interned.

Not all of them but definitely enough that maybe they'll gossip and have people avoid me. [ brilliant! less chances of getting called on. maybe. long as she isn't being a public hazard, you can't arrest her for sparkling. (she thinks.) ]

I would to be considered a menace to society for sparkling too much. (I honestly never thought that sentence would be written seriously. What a world we live in right now.)

Floppy discs?? And they think they're miniature frisbees.

Back in my day we actually did use broken floppy disks as frisbees! Or, more usually the case, as DIY coasters. Same thing can be applied to things like scratched up CDs.

[ it was a lot cheaper to do than buy actual coasters and frisbees when you were kids for one thing. ]
