Hey history nerds. Or coin collectors

Anyone know where this coin is from? Got it in the mail, and I don't recognize it. Certainly nothing from the States or the UK. I tried reverse image search and nothing came up.

And this is on the heels of having one of those hallucinations everyone else has been having. It was... bizarre, to say the least. At least this thing seems innocuous enough.

Sounds like we can at least narrow the time it was made due to the material its made of and the level of details it shows. Not by much though. From what I'm reading, the way this coin could have been made around the 16th century?

It looks like it could have been handmade, like the way old coins were done by hammer, but there is cause to believe a screw press could have had a hand in its creation.

I'm a bookworm! I'm more of a fantasy and folklore lady but sometimes the stories mention interesting things that I have to read up.

[ she had originally written a whole paragraph explaining how she become briefly fascinated with the coin minting. then she catches herself when she starts talking about her favourite character. whoops.

so she deletes all of that and simply adds, ]
It can be surprisingly useful in times like these. Especially if you have a lot of some poor books just riddled with bookmarks and sticky notes that are labelled in a certain way.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was something just meant for you, honestly. It seems to be a running theme with the users here. Finding strange items that later on have some sort of connection. Could it be the same for you? Where did you find it?

From Restropsec? Oh wow that changes everything then in my opinion.

That means it must be for you. Somehow. I thought a necklace that was sent to me wasn't mine but apparently it is from the visions I've seen. Maybe you need to do something with the coin to get a vision for yourself. Maybe flip it? Hold it up in the light? Pass it along to someone?
caelestialis: (094. 🌕 why do i miss you so much.)

Hopefully. Do you need help with it?

I know I'm a stranger and all but if you need a hand in trying to figure out what this is, I'll be more than happy to lend one.
caelestialis: (076. 🌕 we'd find our way.)

If you ever need more help, let me know! I'm here to help.

And my name is Ainsley Menodora. Sorry for not letting you know that right away!

It's wonderful to meet you, Ilia! These are pretty weird circumstances but I think we can work this out long as we help each other.

Could you imagine what it'll be like if we didn't have this app to at least communicate with others? It'll be pretty frustrating to solve any of this all alone, I bet.

[ but it's fun to blame the app!

You have a point there. I guess we can't always point fingers at the company whenever something happens. It may possibly be a common thread amongst them all but it can't be the heart of the problem.

It's scary to think a mere company is doing all of this after all. Brrr! Talk about corrupt executives.
