backdated to 4/12, welcome to ultimate nerd hell

There's got to be at least one comics nerd on here. Someone explain to me what all these old comics are supposed to be, and why they all have me in them.
And before you say "just google it," I did and I couldn't find anything. I have no idea where Retrospec dug these up from.
Also, I've got one free ticket to the shooting range I'm willing to share. The only catch is you have to be 18+ and willing to take me too. Let me know if you're interested.
((To view the comics in larger size/more detail, click here. There was no way i was gonna manage to embed that in a DW post. EDIT: also i added a bit to this post at 4/17 11:38 EST because I was a dumbass who forgot to include it originally, sorry for any possible confusion! ))

...Wait, who's punching through concrete?
no subject
A couple people I know are capable of it. Do you know either Ryoga or May?
no subject
No. Are they the ones punching holes in concrete?
no subject
Well, not regularly, but yes they are able to do so.
no subject
Dude. That is fracking METAL.
*freaking
*firetrucking
*flocking
*you get what I meant

Anyway, yes. I think I know what you mean, and it is quite impressive. A little distressing too, but impressive all the same.

How do you know if you have cement-punching skills now? Does Retrospec send you a letter saying "enjoy your superhuman strength" or something?
[2/2]
Never mind, no cement-punching here.

Anyway I'm not gonna make you tell me about them or anything but you're right. The hallucinomemories are pretty terrible. Haven't had a single good one yet.
no subject
I don't suggest trying them, mind you, unless you're good at that sort of thing already. I'm still getting the hang of it, and falling on your butt hurts.

For all we know, we're their human experiment guinea pigs. Superpowered, but powerless to them and completely at their mercy.
no subject
And that they have no clue what they are doing.
no subject
The second we underestimate them is the second we lose.
no subject
Either way, we can't turn our backs on them for a minute.

[Liar, liar, pants on fire. She's totally planning to do that. She may not like it, but that kind of agility was addictive once you started making use of it.]

Yeah, right.

It is tempting, trust me.

We will see.

Who is to say what is possible here?

And let me guess: we don't have a choice in whether we disappear off the app or not.
