You can take anything apart if it went together at some point. The trouble is getting it back together.

Gorilla Glue is perhaps relevant to your life right now, or some woodworking skills, maybe?

The problem is that I don't have the time to take it apart. And it'll ruin the finishing if I just do that, won't it? Not to mention the fact that I might have put this together a bit too well.

Is this punishment for leaving this to the last minute? It is, isn't it?

Does the person you're building the bed for care that much about the finish? Unless that lovely floral-print bedding is yours, of course; it's quite pretty. [And he means it unironically, too!]
