Point of Order

So. A few things.
First. Dave! I want my membership card! Talking robot spider tank with a grenade launcher. Apologies to Koutarou for stealing some of his modeling clay to make my toy up there. I still remembered nothing about myself, though, so the betting pool is still open. Anyone who wants in on the 'What Is Togusa Repressing' pool, let me know. I think the odds on 'samurai' just got a lot longer, though.
The second thing is a little more important. A few of us made it into the subway, which is supposed to be shut down, the lines were damaged. The trains sure aren't running, but either it's shut down intentionally, or someone has taken advantage of it. Throughout the line connecting Enprise to Tisse, there are these QR codes all along the floor. They're those things you can scan with your phone to see a picture or other information. Scanning them didn't get any data, though.
The other area I went through, I don't even know how to explain what I saw. Try going to the middle of town. Next time, I ought to bring a camera with me.
I know that as soon as I post this up, Retrospec will probably try to lock it all down even tighter than they already have. But seeing as how I was assuming that's how they were getting things through the city without us noticing? If we can make them stop using it, I'll call that a victory.

[Plot twist: of Togusa, Ardyn, and the 19 year-old, which one of the group had no combat skills?]
For right now, it seems like it, just decoration. Odd to decorate a place you don't want anybody going, though? They can't have shut down the whole subway for a paint job. It takes so long to get through downtown now!

[ If it’s Togusa, Koutarou is training him. But it's said "not let anything bad happen" person isn't it. ]
Perhaps it’s for the enjoyment of the people who manage or repair it. They need something to look at. Peculiar things happen in this time once in a while, maybe it’s not that odd. But that it takes so long to go places is a little annoying.

There's usually art in the subway stations all the time, yeah. They might have to replace or repair some of it, when they're all done. You any good at painting murals?
no subject
They might need to do that, yes. It's not that uncommon. I don't have that much experience but I have done a few. I've made more bigger sized paintings on canvas though.

I'm joking. I'm joking!
You should apply, whenever the construction finishes up. It would be a fun job, and then everybody would get to see your art, not just in the galleries.
no subject
You think so? I have never done a job like that. ]
no subject
But definitely. I think you've got the skills for it. At the very least you should put in for a design.
no subject
It could be interesting to do, I might do that if they look for any designs later.

Several people are convinced this is all a dream or a hallucination and they just need to find a way to break it.
no subject
I think you might have to explain that in person at some point. I did not understand that.
People can't usually tell if they're dreaming though, right? And if it was a hallucination, would we think anything was out of the ordinary?
no subject
It is kind of out there, yeah. I'm still thinking about it.
If you remember your dreams, maybe you can tell something is off while it's happening. I can definitely remember figuring out that I'm in a dream, but not being able to wake up anyway.
Given that I have zero experience with hallucinations, I might be the wrong person to ask about that sort of experience. Although I think that if it's chemically induced, you can realize that you're hallucinating and the experience won't end.
no subject
I'm not sure I've had those. There's no way to tell if you're in a dream?
I don't feel any different from normal when I see things. Has anyone mentioned having felt any different? During, or after, or before?
no subject
[Oh, thanks, that wasn't a concern of Togusa's until right this second, but now it is.]
I didn't feel any different. It was just like any other memory. But I can ask around. Nobody's mentioned anything, I think.
no subject
Hopefully they won’t do something drastic like that.
If anybody notices anything then maybe it might be possible to figure out what is going on.

[We're gonna table that other worry for right now.]

I know some people are trying to figure out how to actively trigger more.
Considering how it took a spider attack for me to finally get something? Count me out of any experiments. But I can keep an eye on other people if they try things that they think will work.
no subject
As long as you stay away from the dangerous things it would probably be alright to experiment, but I'm not sure having more of them is better.

Spending as many hours as I do at the range hasn't helped me.
I'll take that back, my accuracy should be better at this year's evaluation. That's help. I just haven't remembered anything.
no subject
You don't need to push yourself to remember anything, though.
Is the evaluation coming up soon?
no subject
But. If you really want answers, you know I'd help you out however I could, right? Just ask away.
On that last point, I actually don't know, there hasn't been a peep about it from the upper brass. Yet. They'll probably try to squeeze it into the schedule with two weeks to prepare.
no subject
I think I might want to discuss some things I've been remembering with you and Chuuya at some point later. I still need to think it through first, though.
So they don't want to give you too much time to cram in practice before? Like a pop quiz but not really.
no subject
Your guess there is about right. We know perfectly well what's expected of us, what the content would be, but we're supposed to stay in line for the whole year. So we should be working on getting better all year.
no subject
That makes sense though, I'd say.
