a-ko to b-ko no monogatari

Asking for a friend since she's not sure who to ask so I thought I would do it to everyone!
So my friend, A-ko was friends with this girl, B-ko. A-ko always thought B-ko was really cool, but something about B-ko really set her off the wrong way. After time, it became clear that B-ko was standoffish because she didn't really know how to interact with people.
Something weird happened to B-ko, like when I suddenly remembered about the horses. She went to A-ko and A-ko didn't know what to do, so she just comforted B-ko about the strange things that had happened. A-ko offered B-ko to sleep at her place and then during the night B-ko declared that she really liked A-ko and took her first kiss. A-ko now was the flustered one.
So now A-ko is really confused since she was never in a relationship with anyone before and she knows a lot about B-ko's bad side and character flaws. A-ko then went to me for advice, but I didn't know what to tell her!
I'm looking for input from anyone who has been in a relationship and I'll forward all the responses to her!
