Good afternoon. For those who don't know me, my name is Cleo Ritter, and I am a rather recent addition to this Retrospec community. I have some questions, to those of you who have received the strange visions after being made a part of this. Specifically, if you're willing, I'd like to hear about those visions. I thought if we collaborate and make a list of what kinds of visions each person receives, we might be able to find a pattern as to who gets what, and perhaps piece together a more complete understanding of what is going on here. Thank you in advance for being willing to share this, and I hope this will prove useful.

It's a joke! I've never met him in real life, but he's been invaluable with gathering information on here.

And I know he has a brother! Who won the Beauty Pageant that Retrospec put on a few months ago!

But I've never met Dirk, either.

Retrospec put on a beauty pageant?

Yeah. It was really the twins, Souji and Yu Narukami, who ended up hosting it? But Retrospec put it on. They offered up 'a chance to remember' to the winners.

It's been one of our biggest pieces of evidence that Retrospec has some measure of control over the memories. Maybe not the content, but they can trigger them.

How did they end up hosting it? Did Retrospec somehow force them to?

Oh no! Not at all! Souji and Yu, they're the kind of guys who would want to do something fun but a little goofy like that.

Right after the application went up, they decided that the best thing to do was to set up Valentines blind dates for anybody on the application who wanted them. It was a huge success! Retrospec probably noticed.

Did Retrospec reach out to them to offer them the chance, then? There may be a point of contact we can investigate there.

I have never been more worried in my life. I watched ten seconds before I cringed too much and had to turn it off.

Janet was who signed the invitation to Souji. Supposedly she works in Human Resources.

It is probably a good thing that I'm still under 21. I have never been more tempted to take up drinking in my life.

[One of Togusa's new favorite past times has become sending people this video and watching them react.]

That's the best I've got. Searching for them has brought us not the right people. But we'll keep our eyes open for more employees.

Sir, if I may be paranoid for a moment. We know Retrospec is capable of inserting memories, but also removing them. Like with horses, and actual fruit. Is it possible that whoever these people are, even they don't know? If they have their memories of Retrospec removed when they aren't actively working on it or addressing us, it would be the most efficient way to escape detection.

Oh. Well. That fits with a different theory I've been having, that Retrospec is only in service of something else, but they dont know the changes or memories, until they happen. That they are helping this along, but it's mostly out of their control.

In service of what, though?

And that's what Retrospec knows that we don't. Why do we remember when other people don't? What's special about us?

Perhaps we are the most amusing to anger.

While I'll agree that's certainly true, that's not a good long-term strategy there for Retrospec.

The Chief has a temper on him, I'd love to see him hit the roof. If you guys are still spying, that one was a suggestion, Jim!

I'm not sure if I want to see that or not. Perhaps if I could watch from a safe distance.
