Good afternoon. For those who don't know me, my name is Cleo Ritter, and I am a rather recent addition to this Retrospec community. I have some questions, to those of you who have received the strange visions after being made a part of this. Specifically, if you're willing, I'd like to hear about those visions. I thought if we collaborate and make a list of what kinds of visions each person receives, we might be able to find a pattern as to who gets what, and perhaps piece together a more complete understanding of what is going on here. Thank you in advance for being willing to share this, and I hope this will prove useful.

anyway, i might just be overthinking it. but i like to take rocinante (that's the name of my car!) wherever i go, especially on roads i've never used before. i don't not like walking, but if i got a job to do that's got a lot of distance involved, i'd probably use the fastest transport.

I see... I wouldn't assume anything bad just from that, but it is worth keeping in mind. Yours took place on Earth, though, from the sounds of it? But not Oklahoma.

I have. I'm not sure what the place I saw was. But it was a city made of steel flying over an ocean far below. And there was a monster.

what was the monster like? was it doing anything, or was it just there?

I cannot say. It's hard to remember entirely. I know it had scales, and in the vision, I... or whoever the vision belongs to, fought the monster with a sword. It would have attacked and destroyed the city, killing many, had it not been slain.

but mostly badass. maybe you'll get that sword, one of these days? seems like a few get random items from time-to-time.

Humble? How so? ... I wonder if I will. A sword would certainly have made dealing with those insects and spiders much easier.

I do not know. I would hope someone totally unrelated to me. I am not. I have never touched a sword before. But it would still be better than to fight bare-handed.

Perhaps. But as the person in the vision was not human, I still wish for her to be unrelated. I cannot imagine how a sword would be useful in my daily life.

gun lessons would be infinitely more useful than sword lessons, probably, if you're into that.

It is something strange enough that I don't like thinking too much about it. But yes. She had claws and fur. I intend to learn how to use a gun as I intend to join the police. Though I hope I never have to use one.

well, you were all up in arms bout that one guy spying on everyone over retrospec and seemed pretty dead set on hauling him in.
then there was huge deal about protecting everyone.
sounds like how you'd want a cop to be.
