Good afternoon. For those who don't know me, my name is Cleo Ritter, and I am a rather recent addition to this Retrospec community. I have some questions, to those of you who have received the strange visions after being made a part of this. Specifically, if you're willing, I'd like to hear about those visions. I thought if we collaborate and make a list of what kinds of visions each person receives, we might be able to find a pattern as to who gets what, and perhaps piece together a more complete understanding of what is going on here. Thank you in advance for being willing to share this, and I hope this will prove useful.

[There's a long pause, and then she nods.]

That's right. Whatever that was in my memory was inhuman, and... I know those visions involve monsters already.

Whatever this is that's happening to us, it's rather outside of our control. But that doesn't mean we have to take it lying down. These memories don't belong to us, so if we don't want them to change who we are, we don't have to let them. And as scary as it is that your outside form might change, it's not going to change the fact that you're you. You'll always be Cleo, a woman who likes cute cat things and wants to be a police officer.

[There's a brief pause, and then she relaxes, letting out a soft laugh under her breath.]

That's right. I should have thought of that myself. I'm sorry to make you state the obvious like that.

... Thank you, Tatsuo.

[Tatsuo just smiles at nods]

No, it's alright. I had to have someone tell me the same thing recently.

... You did? That's surprising.

[she thought you had your life together, tatsuo

... aside from the whole. fire. and cooking. and.

okay, maybe she shouldn't have thought that.]

It was right after I got my first memory. I was worrying over how weird it felt to have it in my brain.

Ah... I can understand why that would cause distress. I simply thought my first vision was a bizarre dream at first.

Heh, I always forget my dreams pretty fast. So when the memory stuck around...

[he shrugs and finishes his coffee]

This is our life now. It's like we're in some sort of weird sci-fi show.

This is our life for now.

[She's correcting him gently, but with a firmness in her voice that she absolutely believes it.]

It is not forever. We will solve this.

[he nods]

Fair enough. For now.
