Recolle, I'd like some advice. Recently, I learned of the existance of a dish called 'omurice'. I've been trying to look up how to make it online, but no one seems to agree. Are there any restaurants in town that serve omurice? And does anyone have tips on how to make it at home easily?

nobody agrees because it's one of those dishes that everyone has their own recipe for!

everyone's version has been passed down by at least three generations of mothers or something like that

or you could try and take a cooking class

oh, a cooking class would be a good idea for a community event, need to write that down somewhere...

my mom used to make this for me... it's really simple

if i went to college, i figure i'd be making these a lot because they're really easy and everyone has their own recipe

i like curry roux in mine... but my mom makes it with ketchup.

if you want i can show you how to make it!

1) can you make eggs

2) can you make rice (even if it's just microwave rice)

if you answered yes or maybe to both those questions you should be good

so i guess first step is seeing if i can manage the egg part

that is a good tip. i don't know how good the first few are going to be. but soon as i know i'm not going to accidentally poison anyone, you're welcome to help me fine tune things.

you have to be good! dont waste food!! besides its only eggs and rice, you wont poison people. the human bodys really strong- ive eaten all sorts of stuff w/o getting sick

technically you can get salmonellosis from undercooked egg

[though he's more likely to burn the eggs than undercook them]

i have no idea what that is, but eggs cook real fast, like in two minutes. even i can make eggs

[ also burning them but look... they're edible... ]

i always overcook eggs and they end up gross and rubbery :/ so i just don't make them anymore
