Right, so. I've seen much and more about Retrospec sending out *weapons* through the post, but I think this might be a first. Whatever it is.

If anyone else out there has some idea of exactly what this is -- aside from the obvious "it's a helmet," thank you, already got that one figured out -- then I'd be glad to hear it, because I haven't got a clue.

LOL not exactly what I had in mind.
But yeah if you got the whole suit, it would look badass.
Maybe at a Ren Faire or for Halloween?

That's assuming an awful lot of what the whole suit is supposed to look like, isn't it? Perhaps it's meant to accompany a chocobo costume, or something of the like.

[ of course, given the helm's ornate style, he seriously doubts that's true. but he knows better at this point than to rule out what might obviously seem impossible, so... ]

I mean, if it's in the same style, it'd be pretty rad. If it's a chocobo costume, then it'd be one badass chocobo.
But if it was in the same style I don't really know what that would look like... maybe some kind of Dullahan or something?

If a Dullahan isn't supposed to have any head then the fact that this helmet even exists leaves me wondering how it's meant to represent that sort of thing.

If it's really ornate it might have... I dunno spells on it.
I dunno, unless your head comes off someday I doubt that's gonna be it.

God, I should hope it doesn't.

Maybe it's not yours? If it's related to a hallucinomemory and you don't remember it?

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case
I have no memory of seeing it but I'm fairly certain I'm wearing it in a few of them.

Oh... then you've worn it but you don't remember what the armor looks like?

I've yet to receive any memory of looking down at myself, at least well enough to actually see whatever I was wearing, so no. I don't.

Ah. I guess that makes sense. You wouldn't be looking in a mirror if you were wearing armor.

And I wouldn't imagine mirrors to be in abundance in medieval-looking dungeons, besides. I've yet to remember aught else.

Might be just a matter of time. It could be that you only wore it a few times, so you can't remember it as well.
