not nearly as much as the dream about prom
at a school i didnt know
with students i didnt recognize
and of all things i was at the door greeting people like i was the hostess or something

i dropped out before senior prom even happened
and the dress i had in the dream
i found it in my closet at home back for the animal shelter ball
but like
i dont remember ever buying it
or it being given to me as a gift
