putting aside the fact that two colors have been removed from the spectrum for the sake of my own sanity: does anyone recognize this?



i found it near my work and got the sense that it was mine, even though i've never seen it. i know that whoever's behind all this has sent people strange items directly, but has anyone just found things seemingly at random?

i liked that other guy's helm better.

His was a bit more attractive, yes. And I've found items, and even helped others find them. They're almost certainly from Retrospec, which means it's tied to your hallucinations.

it's good to know what to expect. and i've had one, yes.

the more i think about it, the more i think i was wearing this in it, though if there were any reflections around i didn't notice them.

You can't bank on a handy mirror to be around. I am 'fortunate' in that I didn't wear anything in these hallucinations that I couldn't see. It's all easily recognized.

i appreciate the sentiment, but it was, unfortunately. this mask doesn't paint a much better picture.

i suppose it makes sense that you wouldn't be wearing something like this, from what you told me before. i didn't see any weapons in my vision, but i doubt it's a situation where anyone would have something as simple as a gun.

no. i doubt anything for children would be this heavy or seal itself to the head it was on like this does.

Unfortunate, and you have my condolences. Yes, the other girl seems to prefer freedom of movement a great deal, so armor would be unlikely.

the things i heard myself say were unsettling.

i was a part of some sort of war, it seemed. apparently i had no issues with cloning people or raising children purely for the sake of becoming soldiers.

Maybe it's a motorcycle helmet? That's what it looks like to me.

it does have that look to it, but there are mechanical parts to it that are more advanced than that. it even has a device that changes my voice.

it's a bit too hard to see out of for that, though i'm sure it would at least partly help with the inevitable crash.

there are a few dents and scratches on it, in any case.

There might be someone who can look at the damage and guess what it came from. That might tell you something about it. I saw a policeman using this app the other day.

i do. i don't usually get the urge to pick up random things off the street. [Maybe sometimes if they look valuable. But this is different.]

i think it matches the one vision i've seen.

i'd be impressed if their forensics team was trained in examining metal pieces of armor. but it could be worth a try. not that i'm sure it matters very much.
