I do. His name is Kanji. I grew up with my father's police dogs, so I've always had a soft spot for shepherds. That said, they were well trained. He is rambunctious. [Attached: Kanji.jpg]

He is. Very soft, I mean. He's very affectionate. He's just large and rambunctious. It's difficult for me to hold him in place when he decides he wants to run somewhere.

how old is he?

In theory. I'm finding it difficult to make time for training. I'll have to take advantage of summer vacation to do as much as possible.
The shelter estimated that he was about 2 years old. Still fairly young.

yeah I don't know much about dogs but that sounds like it's still plenty young enough to learn

Yes, I think so too.
At this point, it's mainly my schedule that's the bottleneck.

True. It seems my summer will be as concerned with dog training as with learning the truth of our situation.

I guess I might have been a little unfair to you, when we were talking about stuff earlier
I do want to know the truth as well!
but of course we're different people
so of course our personalities, backgrounds, and methods are going to be different
and we both bring to the table our own strengths and weaknesses
like, I was getting on your case for not being open-minded...
but at the same time I've realized I am having trouble picking a theory and sticking with it
so maybe I am a little *too* open-minded, haha

but maybe, like
if we were working together
we could find a happy medium somewhere?

I believe strongly in rationality and logic, in evidence and what can be observed and tested. I consider that a significant strength of mine. However... If nothing else, I believe recent events have shown us that whatever is going on? It certainly isn't governed by logic. I want to find the truth. I gain nothing by alienating those trying to do the same.
