So I've been thinking about this a lot, and I don't think blue and green are actually gone. I mean, we can't see them anymore, but I'm wondering if it's more like colorblindness than them actually changing the whole world. Because, think about it. If blue were actually gone, they sky wouldn't be gray. The sky would be red. That's how light and our atmosphere work. We see it as blue because of refracted red light. I remember reading about it forever ago in a science textbook. And if green were gone, we'd already be seeing the smaller plants starting to die, and they aren't, right? So they clearly still are...photosynthesizing. So. I'm not sure the world changed. I think this time it was us. And I can't decide if that's better or worse.

I don't think they are changing what is true though.

I don't know what it means, but the world isn't changing from where they stand. Or if you're wiped of Retrospec memories. Everything is always normal. There's just what, two hundred of us lucky suckers who think everything's been screwing up since February. Who's really nuts here?

Not just trying, they've done it. Now we need to strip the paint back off, however that works.

Nobody seems to have a clue how to actually do it though.
Or even start to try and do it.

If this was really about retaining everyone the app is forced on, we should be way more than at three hundred. But we're not.

I don't advise breaking shit. That just pisses people off. I'm not even sure how to "play" into what Retrospec wants, or I'd say give that a try, see what the hell it does us. "Remember" is a shitty set of instructions.

That's the most unnerving part of it all, really.
One day we can be figuring this out, and the next...
We just don't care.

That's what I like least. Getting made to believe things are or aren't normal, it's screwed up. We don't even know what markers there are for when people are pulled off app, do we. They're just gone.

I know one of them, she's in my class in school.
She's the same as ever.
Except for not caring about retrospec or noticing the changes in the world.

But yeah there weren't any markers or warnings.

Yeah. Same story with everyone I know of who doesn't remember anymore.

No idea what to really say about any of that. Unless we're supposed to remember who used to remember, too.

It almost seems cruel to bring them back to it.

If they even believe. I don't know if in the short run any of them can believe, or if there's something that prevents them from accepting that maybe those few hundred of us on this aren't crazy.

So far it's more like they don't see it.
When I tried to show my mother something impossible just just seemed to...wave it off.
Like it hadn't happened.
