Maybe the world is fine...

So I've been thinking about this a lot, and I don't think blue and green are actually gone. I mean, we can't see them anymore, but I'm wondering if it's more like colorblindness than them actually changing the whole world.
Because, think about it. If blue were actually gone, they sky wouldn't be gray. The sky would be red. That's how light and our atmosphere work. We see it as blue because of refracted red light. I remember reading about it forever ago in a science textbook.
And if green were gone, we'd already be seeing the smaller plants starting to die, and they aren't, right? So they clearly still are...photosynthesizing. So. I'm not sure the world changed. I think this time it was us. And I can't decide if that's better or worse.

that’s one word for it

i don’t know about you but i like the filter thing better anyway
if only because genetic engineering sounds like a horror movie waiting to happen

yeah but if we had to choose i’d go for the less invasive one every time
or, you know, not being affected at all

the only good thing is that so far the changes have been mostly harmless
like you could say some people could’ve been hurt when we were tiny but otherwise it was mostly just inconvenient
and turning whole colors gray is a big change too but it can’t really put anyone in danger

it’s like they’re just trying to find the best way to troll us

everyone who's not on the app seems to be doing just fine and it's like they've never seen blue or green at all

would you rather it be a joke or, like, some serious science experiment none of us knew we were part of
or a computer program
that's the best theory i've heard about all this so far

got me
i’d say it’s some shades of gray thing but they look about the same to me

a computer simulation sounds better than “magic” in my opinion but to each their own

a program would just make more sense to me than magic, that’s all
you could argue magic is science we don’t understand yet
i just don’t like calling it magic because then no one even TRIES to understand it and it doesn’t make sense if that’s all there is to it

i’m just saying there’s got to be more to it than that

i kind of like “jim’s trolling us” honestly

but i guess if calling magic helps some people, power to them
i don’t have to like it though
