The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

So...what I'm getting from all of this is that:
1) Everything about the world is really, really off.
2) This Jim guy's a total weirdo, and everyone's surprised that Janet's real for some reason?
3) Nobody's happy to be here.

I'm sure there's more to this thing, so is there anything else us newbies should know?

To be blunt, we wished for Janet to be a figment of Jim's imagination for her own sake.
No one deserves the affections of someone like him.
And yes, correct.
I have only been here a couple of months myself, but you should be aware that Retrospec has enough powers to be called god-like.
You should now recall horses instead of chocobos, and perhaps the incident a couple of months ago when everything was shrunk.
Furthermore, people will periodically receive bizarre items in the mail.
Or have our bodies changed to match the visions we receive.
Nothing is impossible for Retrospec, and they are both powerful and malicious.

Hey Ann.

First and foremost, it's important to keep in mind that the world's been that way for a while now. You just didn't know what was off until you had access to this app. It seems to make you 'aware' of all the changes. It's weird, I know, but I've had the app since February.

And Jim and Co are no more helpful now than then.

I wouldn't say we're all unhappy to be here. I think it might be better to say none of us likes having no say in the things that Retrospec does.

I've had good experiences because of Retrospec. But I've had bad ones, too.

It's not terrible, no.

Turning small and losing color aside, there's a lot of people here. So at the very least you're not alone.
I mean it's not the best thing that's happened in my life but it's far from the worst.

Also if no one's told you then some weird memory shit going on, too.

Don't try deleting this app. It can't be done, and even if you manage to do so successfully it's just going to come back so you're just stuck with it and everything that it entails.
