The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

I have some things that are a little orange, probably.
But all orange?

It's not really near the top of my color list, if I had to pick.

Well, it seems like it's time that you go and buy a few more orange-coloured items so you can appreciate them more before we eventually lose the colour.

What if they don't take away a color though.

And without the cows, there goes a huge portion of the dairy industry. Perhaps that's their real plan, to have everyone fall to a severe calcium deficiency.

Not just dairy.
Beef too.
And a lot of crops rely on manure produced on beef farms.
It would basically upend a huge portion of the entire planets food cycle.

But I can't see that stopping them.

Perhaps Retrospec is more sinister than we've originally thought. Can we really put an apocalyptic end past them?

I'm not sure we can put anything past them.
Although, if they want their experiment to continue, doing something that would kill a bunch of us off probably isn't in their best interests either.

Maybe they don't want to kill all of us but just a majority of us. They could be doing pest control. Perhaps get rid of the ones that are causing them the most amount of trouble.

I feel like the easiest way to prevent us from causing them trouble would've been to not let us know they exist at all.
Do the changes to world but not bother with the social app.

If they do view us as a pest, it doesn't make sense they'd unify us does it?

Maybe they like a little challenge or think that nothing we do will be able to stop them. They could be like the cocky villains in every story like this.

Jim does strike me as the 'NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW MWA HA HA HA HA' type.
If Janet is real she seems at least a little rational.

But I doubt you could do the things they do without something of an ego.

Unless it's possible that Janet is being held hostage.

I mean, this is the first time we have finally heard from her and Jim has been having an unhealthy obsession with her. Perhaps she only seems rational because she really is the only rational person in a group of insane kidnappers.

I hadn't thought of that.

But if she's the rational one, why not try to slip something into her message we could pick up on?
Or...make a change we could see that would lead us to that way of thinking.

She might not have any power in determining what gets changed or not. If she's a hostage then she's most likely not in control of anything.

Furthermore, if the conditions she's being kept in are less than humane, she might be too afraid to put a hidden message in her text. If they were to catch her, I can only imagine what kind of punishment they'd give her. Just her sheer appearance might be good enough for us to know that she exists.

It makes sense.

The problem is it makes exactly as much sense as my 'she isn't real and Jim's roleplaying' theory.

Because we don't actually know anything.
Except their names and that's hardly useful
