The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

and did anything else in your life change besides the appearance of this app when you realized certain colors are gone from the world?

I haven't really noticed anything else so far. Just the colors and this.

I have a friend who's told me about some of these things before. He's trustworthy so I believed him, even if I couldn't really see anything myself.

Someone in that message talked about six months so I assume that's how long it's been going on for some of you?

yes. it's been six months for me since this came into my life and started turning things around.

That... must have been rather overwhelming to deal with..

it has been at times, i won't lie. but after so long, there are parts i've come to accept into my life now. such as these posts with their odd messages.

Is this method of communication usual for them?

I don't even remember hearing the name of that company before, not even in my classes.

you'll find that no one but us knows they exist, despite them having a building in the city proper. it's not surprising you didn't hear their name.

And someone just told me they can also track our physical location, including our home address?

[He's paranoid about this for a reason, ok.]

that is true. they already know your home address, if the trend is anything to go by. and unfortunately, we don't currently have a way to counteract that, via legal means or through the police. we simply don't have the numbers.

That has to be illegal. What of people who need to protect their locations?

if it's any consolation, only retrospec has that information, not the general public.

but yes, all lawyers and police personnel that are on this app agree that it's illegal.

And none of those law enforcement people have been able to do anything.

when only a few of them can see the app and know what it's doing compared to the rest who have no idea retrospec even exists or that the color blue is a thing, they can't.
