The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

Whatever it is will probably involve QR codes. And, for whatever reason, the knowledge of how to build a fire. Jim gave us those hints in his last post. I'm a little concerned that there's a "game" of some kind coming, but... most things hosted by Retrospec so far haven't been dangerous. Not in a physical way.

Whether or not they're "harmless" would probably depend on who you ask.

From your perspective, then... Ignoring physical danger, would you say they're harmless?

That's a tougher question to answer than I expected.

I can't exactly say I've been hurt by the things Retrospec has done. Still, they've undoubtedly changed my life. In some ways for the better, but in some ways...

Have you heard yet about what some of us call hallucinomemories, or visions?

Only briefly. Not in detail.

They're "memories." Flashes, visions, whatever you want to call them, of another life. I've had hallucinomemories of attending another high school, in Japan, though some friends I have in Recollé are present in these memories, too.

Some people believe they're fake, or implanted. Some people believe they're real. It's hard to say what they really are. We still don't know much about them, other than that Retrospec seems able to trigger them in us somehow.

We're remembering what seems like another life because of an app on our phone?

It sounds pretty unbelievable when you put it like that.

Still, Retrospec has offered us chances to "remember" in the past. They definitely have a hand in it, though what is hard to say.

Have they used that terminology themselves?

Yeah. That exact word. "Remember."

Strange.

Which do you believe, then? That they're implanted, or that you're remembering something you've forgotten?

My opinion?

I think it's the second one. But, whatever I believe doesn't matter. I want to find out the truth.

But until we've managed to find the truth, it's good to hear other perspectives, I think.

That's a smart way of looking at it. Keep asking. Maybe you'll discover an interesting pattern by asking enough people.
