The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

I mean hey apparently this app can induce hallucinations of a "past life" and is, you know, responsible for colors disappearing and really, colors vanishing definitely seems at least somewhat supernatural.

Or there are other more rational explanations that we simply have yet to find. There are a variety of faults in thoughts or eyesight that have perfectly sound scientific explanations.

But I'm not a scientist, so I don't know what those explanations are just yet.

Maybe we should place a bet, see who would win.

Fine. I'll bet five that there's a logical explanation all along, albeit highly illogical in execution by these people.

Whoever loses owes the winner 20 bucks. Because I still want something out of this, even if it is something of a pointless bet, given how apparently cryptic everything has been so far. Which also means it's pointless to raise the price, I suppose, but I doubt we're answering this any time soon. I think this is something best kept in the back of your mind.

True, 20 is probably about high-stakes enough to keep both of us from forgetting about this bet immediately after this conversation is over...

Considering how there are some people that have been on this for six months none the wiser, though, the wait seems like it's going to be a long one.

Yep! So that just means we have to both stick around for our money. For, however long that's going to take.

The more I hear about what others have dealt with since getting this app, the more I wonder if twenty dollars would be worth actually sticking around for. If not sticking around were an option, which it doesn't seem to be. Beside the point, I guess.

I wonder if there's a certain type of person they're picking out for this app...

Just based off of who I've talked with? No, there doesn't seem to be. There's people of all types on here, no easily traceable commonalities available. Makes everything a lot more difficult.

Exactly! The lack of a pattern makes an already difficult situation more difficult because there isn't even a followable basis!
