Hello Users, For those of you who are new: Welcome to Retrospec™, the last social media network you will ever need. This should not, of course, have any impact on your usage of Retrospec™. The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. Finally, I would like to extend congratulations to those of you who have now reached your sixth month. We hope you will continue to accept our assistance in these trying times. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Any new characters will find that the first photo they upload is locked as their profile picture for the rest of the month. Characters who have been in game since February will find their profiles now have a 6 months badge. It does absolutely nothing of note.

but do they know sign language? i'd be surprised if they were intimately fluent with it. it's not a very everyday sort of thing; most people don't even consider it unless they're faced with the possibility they'll have to utilize it somehow.

then we're all protagonists. how shall we prepare ourselves to deal with this future threat?

It's not, no, but I'd wouldn't be surprised if they had at least an interpreter to help. They seem very adamant on keeping an eye on us and knowing what we are saying and doing. It wouldn't make much sense putting in this much effort into surveillance if they didn't know what we were saying.

We should clearly establish ourselves as the protagonists by dyeing our hair colour bright and not wearing the proper school uniforms. That will absolutely identify us as the main characters.

an excellent point... i'll concede.

i've never dyed my hair before, but it sounds fun. though i don't believe the uniform thing will work out.
the university doesn't have a uniform to speak of, after all.
what do we do in that case?
