The first milestone for the second of the colors lost has been met, and accordingly we have diverted resources to fix what could be fixed. R&D has alerted me that a bigger loss may occur in the near future, and I would advise you to be careful, though I am afraid neither they nor I can be much more detailed than that. [Well that has all sorts of implications, but Peter's concern grows for all the other 'victims' of this. That he's included in that is secondary at best.]


So people have tried before, but couldn't get it to appear when they actually wanted to?

Basically.

I was out of it for a couple months, and every time by boss tried showing it to me during that time I just saw a blank screen.

Getting locked out was just as random?

Basically. You can imagine I wasn't exactly thrilled to figure that part of it out. Not like I wanted to be subjected to the whims of a half-assed app that's almost 99% connected with all the weird shit going on lately.

They acknowledge it even. Their updates couldn't talk about colors if they weren't also onto all of this.

Exactly. Which makes it a bit freaky that not only are both we and they aware of everything going on, but if you try telling anyone else about the color blue or how fruits didn't dance before, they think you're the one going crazy.

In that case it's not a surprise that we are inclined to sticking with each other.

Because it looks like the company doesn't have a history of responding, I should pull my weight for others.

It definitely helps ease the burden, at the very least. So might as well stick together while we can.

I have some confidence that each of use can make a difference, even among the majority who didn't know each other before.

Considering the amount of bullshit that tends to happen, it's definitely reassuring. That and networking is generally a good idea to get anywhere these days.
