On the other, she's about as helpful as Jim. Really.
Glad I'm not the only one nervous about the ominous 'bigger loss' that 'may occur' though. What's next, red? Because traffic will be an absolute hoot, if so.

Well, if he got fired, he got fired. He was pretty unprofessional with us. But it would be kind of hard to search for him among the napper masses, considering we don't even know what he looks like or if 'Jim Halloway' is his real name.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about, too. We know so little about the Retrospec people... they might as well not be real.

But if they are, I hope Jim is at least okay. He definitely deserved to get fired, but not erased.

I don't know if I'd go that far. I definitely don't think this is some sort of VR simulation either. And really, I'm half joking when I say Jim is/was an algorithm. I'd much rather there be people behind this.

Hitori Togusa It's a good idea. The process is easy enough, internally. If you guys have the interest, and enough skill, the Department definitely wants you all capable of carrying.

Hitori Togusa Izunia might not seem like he's got the patience for it, but ask him. I swear he turns into a totally different person on the range. He has a healthy respect for firearms, and he's even more serious than me about people learning to use them safely, so he'll take the time.

That would certainly qualify as a greater loss. Though I think our society is too sight-focused for it to function properly if everyone lost their vision. Though if you want aiming higher, I vote for the electric grid cascade failure. Or sudden climate change.

They rewrite everything, remember? Horses being totally replaced with chocobos, the sky and sea losing colours? Rewriting society away from being sight-focused isn't way out there. Though it'd be major as hell.

Why not have total failure of electricity permanently. It's not like Retrospec actually needs our electronics to have power. Sudden climate change... if it gets cooler, that'd be fine by me. Creepy as hell. What would the point of that be? People are more angry over this colour and fruit shit than if the weather messed up, you'd just find a way to ignore weather if it wasn't wrecking your shit.
