Elizabeth Velveteen and Goro Akechi of the newly-formed The Answers Agency would like to announce that, after multiple days of investigation, we have found that a member of Retrospec's userbase is actually an incredibly kind person.

Silver Bells, known on the app as Gintaro Suzukaze, has done wonderful things such as:

* sprayed water on people on a very hot day
* helped newcomers adjust to retrospec
* had his nails painted a bright assortment of colors that was sure to clash with his hair to help out with someone’s bingo square
* promo’d his brother for bingo and because he obviously loves him
* rescues cats from trees on a biweekly basis
* befriends friendless losers
* lends his aid without asking for anything in return

(citation for at least two of these)

We thank you for reading and ask that you spread the good word about Silver, and perhaps share stories of your own of his kindness!

also, i (The Answers Agency president, Elizabeth) will be holding a show everyone is free to come to in Recollé Square on the 15th, at 5pm. you’ll have to bring your own snacks, but other refreshments will be provided.

No. The hype was a little too much for me, frankly, and the kinds of people I see that like it don't do the game any favors.

oh, that's much too bad.
groundstory had such a very engaging narrative, and i believe you would have enjoyed it quite a lot.
the choice between "befriend" and "defeat" was often incredibly tough for me, really...
i'm simply too used to fighting monsters.

That does sound a hard habit to break.
What's the point in befriending them?

the proof that people don't need to fight in order to be understood: they simply have to communicate.
that showing mercy is just as powerful as defeating a terrible foe.
and things of that nature. it's a game that doesn't punish you for wanting to be diplomatic, though admittedly, the challenges are much harder when one stays at minimum life points.
growing levels obviously increases that and makes it easier for you to stay alive.

unfortunately i am without mercy and i enjoy the instant gratification of additional health.
i did do it the totally peaceful way eventually, but it's simply too fun to win and be rewarded with level ups.

While the story intrigues me, as I have stated before it's truly the characters that make or break it for me.

i liked the battle system. it was very unique.
and once i began winning battles, i simply couldn't stop!
though i didn't grind the fields to desolation or anything.
