2/13 near RecolléIs anyone else still stuck wearing those ridiculous beads from the founder's day parade, or is it just me? I've tried throwing them away, having other people throw them away, cutting them off...nothing works. I even have to shower with the bloody things on! I can't imagine having these around my neck for the rest of my life but it is honestly starting to feel like that is a distinct possibility. It's not...just me, right?

Hitori Togusa But have you noticed this happening to anyone who isn't a part of this network?

Eleanor Lamb Now I can't take them off at all.
Eleanor Lamb No though. Just people on that new retrospec thing.

Hitori Togusa You noticed the logo on them? I figured this was just dumb viral marketing on the part of Retrospec.
Hitori Togusa But why bother marketing to only your own user base?

Eleanor Lamb But I rather doubt any of this will make sense to us.
Eleanor Lamb I tried going by their office, but it was just an empty lobby.

Hitori Togusa None of this is going to make any sense until we can talk to somebody. Get a name or a face for who these people are.
Hitori Togusa I'm sorry that whatever they're up to is inconveniencing you.

Eleanor Lamb I have a friend who thinks it's aliens.
Eleanor Lamb Maybe she's right

Hitori Togusa Getting all our identities is easy. But the user identification tech? The beads? And then their own offices?
Hitori Togusa There has to be a reasonable explanation, though.

Eleanor Lamb I mean, I want you to be right but.

Hitori Togusa But what's the benefit here? Retrospec, that's easy to figure out, new tech, they're after the money, but if replacing horses with birds was somehow intentional, why go to the trouble?

Eleanor Lamb I mean, if it were a message you'd think they'd want everyone figuring it out.
