Is anyone else still stuck wearing those ridiculous beads from the founder's day parade, or is it just me? I've tried throwing them away, having other people throw them away, cutting them off...nothing works. I even have to shower with the bloody things on!
I can't imagine having these around my neck for the rest of my life but it is honestly starting to feel like that is a distinct possibility. It's not...just me, right?

[It was a forced, self-deceiving and desperate optimism that was grabbing onto whatever flotsam was in the water to avoid drowning in the sheer 'what the fuckery' that was already happening to them all. The crap hadn't hit the proverbial fan, and it was already a lot for a simple florist's mind to handle.]
