hi! i hope everyone is having a great day so far! and if not i hope it gets better!
i have a couple questions or something to advertise i guess?
um!!

one is does anyone have any (hallucino)memories of androids or being an android or a cyborg or something like that? or could someone tell me the difference between the two because i'm not sure i know... (i'm sorry!)

two is what's your favorite flower? now that we have some blue and green back it's not as depressing to work at a flower shop!

[HE'S NYOOMING ON OVER so he'll save the actual opinions on flower crowns for when he gets to the shop...!

Which will be pretty soon, since he knows exactly where it is. Back when Mikorin wasn't an NPC, he would stop by pretty often for flower arrangements, crowns, corsages... Pretty much anything that would catch his eye, because he's a sucker for nice things. After poking his head through the front door of the shop:]

Hey! Kiyomitsu Kashuu, coming iiin.

[With a little jaunty but polite wave! It's his first time meeting Chiyo off the network, after all. Gotta make good first impressions.]

[ Chiyo brightens upon sight, and she returns the wave. She recognizes the name and his face from his Retrospec profile, so her Retail Smile becomes something much more genuine. There is a small selection of flower crowns displayed on the counter next to her, but Chiyo is currently working on making another one (with a lot of blue delphinium). ]

Hiii! Welcome! I'm happy to finally meet you. [ She holds up the crown she's working on. ] Here's something blue like you asked for, but please pick out any other flowers to add in!

Same to you! Chiyo, right? Is that what you go by?

[And over he'll trot without any other hesitation, because he's gotta get a closer look at these crowns...! God, he'll never get tired of flower crowns. They're not even at peak fashion anymore and he doesn't care, which rarely ever happens for him with trends.]

Oh, wow! That's so pretty. I don't think I've seen this flower before... What is it? And what do you think would look good with it? White, maybe? Or yellow? A blue that bright should totally be the star of the show.

[ For a second, she recalls the hallucinomemory when someone called her Chiyorin, but her smile grows wider because already, she thinks Kiyomitsu has an infectious personality. ]

They're blue delphinium! Oh, I'm so sorry. I should've asked if you had pets. They're poisonous when eaten, so they should be kept away from animals. I can switch to another blue flower like geraniums, if so! It won't take me long.

But, um, I think white would be perfect with them if you want a gentle and elegant feel. Yellow would be great if you want to be bright and lively like a sunlit garden.

Cute name! Tons of people just call me Kiyo, so we totally match.

[What a nerd... But upon mention of pets, he'll nod, since he has a cat named Cat living with him now.]

I've got a little kitten that's not very old, so I'd be a little worried he'd manage to find it and chew it up. If switching it out wouldn't be a big inconvenience or anything, I'd like that!

[And as far as the complementary flowers go:]

You really know your stuff, huh? Hmm... I think I'll go with yellow, then. That kinda feel is one that we need right now, you know?

Does that mean I can call you that?

[ Or is that being too forward?

And is that a Breakfast at Tiffany's reference? ]

Yeah, of course! It won't take me long to get back to where I was! We wouldn't want your kitten getting sick. [ She walks around the store and picks blue geraniums. She makes quick work of some more floral wire into a circle and starts threading the new flowers around the frame. ]

Hehe, color palettes are a little more my thing than flower arrangements, but yeah, we need to be bright in contrast to the gray that's still around!

Sure! It's nice and short and cute, right? Easy to remember!

[Not that Kiyomitsu is particularly hard, but still...! Also if only they were that clever but no, they're just idiots who haven't actually got around to naming their cat yet because they spend all their time arguing over it.]

[He'll watch while she works, though, endlessly curious about how other people go about their respective crafts.]

It sounds like your kitten is a cute and curious one!

[ Chiyo's biggest issue when making flower crowns is checking to make sure all the flowers face outward at the same angle because they shift on her when she moves to the next flower, so she takes extra care with that with someone watching her. ]

Oh, I draw! And paint. Mooostly on the computer because the undo command is a dream come true. These days, though, not a lot of my work goes past the sketch phase.

He is, he is! He's the best. Really smart and super cute! I mean, all cats are cute, but he's the cutest.

[He's a proud cat parent...

At least she'll get a brief reprieve from his watchful stare as he's distracted by talking about said cat! And then distracted by meeting an artist which is always a lot of fun. His expression lights up and he leans into the counter, excited.]

Ooh! D'you have a blog or anything? I wanna see some of your stuff! [Though his expression shifts into something a little more subdued after that.] Is it 'cause of all the Retrospec stuff?

[ Chiyo thinks Kashuu is a cute, doting cat parent. Anyone who readily admits their pet is the best like this is on the right track to being a great cat parent. ]

Do you have any pictures of him on your phone? I want to see him!

[ She'll never turn away from the chance to see pictures of kittens. ]

I do! I have an art Twitter and an art Tumblr. [ She's all over social media. Her usernames are something like cherryblossomings or hanamis or something like that because she wasn't fast enough to get usernames without adding some kind of suffix. ] And yeah, it's a little hard to focus with everything going on. All the changes that happened.... and then losing blue and green... it's rough! I feel like by the time things get a little calm again, something new pops up.

Mm, yeah! Hang on.

[Let him pull his phone out so he can open his ENTIRE FOLDER OF CAT PICTURES and pass it over for her to browse through. Cat is a tiny black kitten with a white patch on its forehead! Very cute. It seems to like meowing at the camera, too.

He's very proud of his very vocal cat, as a doting cat parent should be. ANYWAY--]

I'll follow you! [Being the millennial he is, of course he's also all over social media. Once he gets his phone back, he'll do just that!]

—But yeah, you're right about that, huh? It's been that way preeetty much nonstop since Founder's Day. All the breaks we get are ones that we make for ourselves.

[ Chiyo coos and awws at every single picture that she swipes through to see. It's a super cute kitten. The white patch makes it even cuter, and Chiyo says so.

What a good kitten to be a doting parent to. ]

[ Chiyo laughs a little sheepishly. ]

Yeah, I feel like I haven't had time to breathe much? Some of the Bingo options were surprisingly not bad, but... I'm not that great at making breaks for myself, so it's been...

[ She holds up the half-finished flower crown. ]

Flower crowns! It makes others happy and it makes me happy, and maybe I'll even get something else out of it.

[He's very proud of Cat and it sure shows... Once show-and-tell hour is over, he'll set his phone back down so he can concentrate on the conversation more fully.]

Yeah? I mean, I totally get you there... [He's not good at keeping his hands idle either, especially when that just means he has more time to entertain way too many anxious thoughts. Living in Recolle without something to do is basically just begging for existential and identity crises.]

Still, it's good to get at least a little rest, y'know? But I can understand if this- [A nod toward the crowns!] -is a way of resting up, too.

Mm! I've been told I won't be young forever, but I think I get enough sleep.

[ That's missing the point, but that's all Chiyo can say to defend herself. She has enough common sense to know what's a proper break, but it's not always easy to apply it to living and life. ]

I know that a lot of... memories and other changes have been huge for people, and sometimes it's hard to be positive, so if I can see people be happy even for a little while, it gives me energy! Like, seeing how happy your kitten makes you was a really nice break today!

[ She's optimistic enough to hope that a little can go a long way. ]

[Good lord, that's probably single-handedly the most amazingly optimistic thing he's heard in weeks. And honestly, that alone is enough to buoy his spirits a little too.]

That's a super cute way of looking at things. Maybe I should try it sometime... It'll probably give you waaay less wrinkles than worrying about all this stuff, anyway.

Though obviously not a real top concern. Failing health might be for some people, though, considering how down in the dumps these memories can make them.]

[ She worries a lot, but she tries not to wallow in all the the things she can't do. It works some of the time.

[ She offers the crown to him. ]

[He'll place it on carefully, adjusting both it and his hair with his phonecam until he seems satisfied.]

[ She makes a rectangle with her thumbs and index fingers. ]

[HE DOES because any true insta-nerd worth their salt always takes Way Too Many Selfies in one go. GOOD WORK, TEAM.

Once he's satisfied, he'll drop his phone down again and turn back to face her properly.]
