mr. kaiyou asked about extra manpower. we can't really grant access to anyone other than we have now unless someone switches out, and i can't unlimit the people the doctor put on probation, but you can all consult with one another so long as you're in network areas although in some locations you may only be able to reach your actual team consultant if you were assigned one. or one another if you were not.

i'd advise you to maybe try not to get put on probation on here but i can't really stop you if you do. so i'll just say that this is still being monitored and none of you are actually required to work with us, so. please allow the people who are trying to the time to do so. i did warn mr. kaiyou it's a possibility.

Please be advised monsters from the Bestiary can still be found around town. The convention center is still wrecked as well! Other damage can be found around town such as broken windows, some destroyed buildings, etc. Strangely, the monsters were courteous and left people's homes alone (for the most part.) Please note: this mingle is for Group One and Group Three members. Those of Group Two are still missing and time is still moving normally. This means they have been gone for one week as of today.

Group One and Group Three members may continue to create their own posts and logs about the state of affairs, though this post is a good time to link up and discuss what's happening city-side.

Are you going to be able to restock before the next push? It would be nice if they let you do a save but if not, try to hoard your resources and get creative.

Looks like we're going underwater, so it's good that they're outfitting us. There wasn't exactly an 'underwater combat' section of Academy training, though. And I got warned that other people are still going to be fine, but the specific power set I got might not work.

Double check the gear before you go marching into so you know where the switches and hookups are. Can't have you stuck when you need to shed something fast.

What set do you have again? I know you said teke but what else?

Telepathy. Which is odd because apparently the guy Retrospec is telling me about, I got memories of using something like it. Annoying that what might be the MOST useful thing is going to get disrupted, I don't know how we're going to be able to stay in contact.

The other Retrospec employee mentioned. M. Mahoney, apparently a doctor, female. Don't know her specialty. We didn't get a chance to talk to her, but there's another name if you feel like another background check.

No, it can't work in an "unreality pocket." Whatever the hell that is. It's where everyone got sent to, and where I assume the monsters are pouring out of. The dive suits might have internal mics.

If the pattern holds, you won't find anything about her, but somebody has to check each of these every time we get a name, in case they missed one, you know?

They've tossed you into that kind of space so soon? I would expect it later on... Double check to see if there are mics otherwise you might need to come up with ways to signal each other.

Yeah, I expected that tbh. You were still using a cheat by being able to contact outside help. However just keep your head and focus on the inconsistencies that you can see. Puzzles are just meant to be hard, and impossible just means that you haven't gotten the trick yet.

Because you wouldn't expect them in the middle of a Water Temple. It's something that people expect more in an Earth Temple or a Fire Temple.

Protect, turtle up, trap the area, wait for a break since they can't attack all the time, then strike with the strongest thing that you can.

We've got one more section of problems to solve in here, and then, apparently the Retrospec Technicians are going to try to pull everybody back from where they are trapped.

The weird powers were something called a Weapon Protocol. I'm guessing. Because they're describing very similar effects if we complete that protocol now.

Of course they are. Why else wouldn't they do this?
