1) Good luck and best wishes to all the students gearing up to start school this week. While I know the end of summer vacation and the onset of the school year may seem like an event to anticipate with a sense of mounting dread instead of enthusiasm, remember that — in the words of South African activist and former president Nelson Mandela — "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
Increasing access to education is one of the main pursuits of the Sandiego Foundation, and we share American statesman Benjamin Franklin's opinion that "an investment in knowledge pays the best interest." We pride ourselves on the number of scholarships we're able to offer to students of all ages and educational goals, as well as grants and other financial support. If you're getting ready for school and finding that you'd welcome some additional financial assistance in the coming semester, please don't hesitate to make contact; we still have plenty of scholarships as yet unawarded, and will continue to accept applications for them through the end of this week.
It's your job to chase your dreams. We at the Sandiego Foundation want nothing more than to help you get there.
2) Speaking of the Foundation, we're still in the process of getting our fall calendar of events fleshed out, and I'm always open to new ideas for community functions that people might like to see and take part in. One can only attend so many dinners, socials, and golf outings before things start getting tedious. So, a poll for the masses: what sort of event would you most like to see come to Recollé?
(At the risk of invoking a verbal cliché, I really would like to put the "fun" back into "fundraiser" on a much more regular basis.)
3) The usual daily mail contained a number of packages that I was expecting to see delivered, and a few unexpected ones marked with what seems to be the Retrospec logo. Experienced recipients, is there anything I should be particularly concerned about before I open these?
4) On a more personal note, I'm interested in hiring the services of a sketch artist, for a certain project I'm hoping to further. If you have the skills, time, and interest — or know someone who may be available for hire — please feel free to get in touch with me at your earliest convenience.

and if you really don't wanna do it you can pay to get out of it maybe but why would you go to karaoke if you hate fun
no subject
Let's see. Every singer should get one free veto, for the sake of comfort, but then maybe instead of getting out of it, they can pay instead to transfer the song to one of their cohorts.
What do you think about that?
no subject
I think it'd be way more fun than some stupid dinner too.

My name is Minako Arisato, I'm one of the recreational event coordinators with ReVA.
We've done a lot of events in the past, and some of the fan favorites off the top of my head are: the film festival, dodgeball tournament, video game livestream marathon, penny drive, auctions, and pub crawls for the adults.
I'm sure you could make some of these into charity events for your Foundation, but if none of these sound appealing, I can run to the office and grab our entire list for you.
no subject
We had one request for a karaoke competition, which I think sounds absolutely entertaining — anything that makes it easy for people of all ages and circumstances to participate would be my ideal.
no subject
The film festival and dodgeball tournament would be the easiest for people of all ages to go to, so long as the very youngest children are accounted for, of course. A theater just for kids' movies, and a play area with softer bouncy balls instead of dodgeballs, for example.
Or just bring in a ball pit, the kids love those. Even if the parents don't.

Sometimes Retrospec sends us stuff that belonged to us in our memories
They gave me some clothes I always wore
Your package should be safe
You should share what's inside /o/
no subject
[Hmm. In the context of the memory she just got back recently, that's...suddenly a little bit unsettling.]
There's two of them. Both seem fairly light — about the size of a shoebox. No holes in them, either, so I'm assuming no live animals in this particular delivery...

Actually I know someone who got a baby tiger in the mail once
It seemed nice though

or like
roller derby
80s roller rink party
idk
no subject
Otherwise, I'm all in favor of a roller rink party. We're also discussing karakoke battle of some variety, which I think has a lot of merit.
no subject
also why not a karaoke disco roller rink party
just mishmash that shit together
tangle it up and see what you get

1. I'm still in high school but I'll keep that in mind. [But he's sure he should point this post out to Izuku. Shouto's not sure he wants to get into college, but he feels like Izuku probably does.]
3. No, those packages just belong to you. They aren't dangerous as far as I can tell. They might bring some memories? It depends on what's in them.
no subject
1) I'm glad. You know I'm always happy to help, if there's something I can do.
3) So I've been hearing. I admit I'm a little apprehensive about opening them, but I think ultimately my curiosity will win out over my apprehensions.
no subject
1. Thank you. I'll put in an application if I end up going to college.
3. It might be something useful. I got a fireproof jumpsuit out of mine. I was getting sick of burning through shirts.

[ Hello, broke college student who does art for money here... ]
no subject
That's what I'd like done. I'm not expecting perfection, just...something a bit more concrete than a memory in my mind's eye.
no subject
[ Should he consider himself lucky, in that respect? He doesn't feel lucky for it. ]
I've never done anything on that level before, but I'm not bad at drawing people. It might not be perfect, but I could give it a shot, if you want?

Though, they do occasionally send people weapons, even if they haven't remembered the weapon yet.
[since he remembers Carmen being a slightly on edge at the firing range]

[Well, these are about the size of a shoebox, each, and all of a sudden she's remembering the guns she found in a drawer during the plot and not feeling so great about these boxes anymore.]
I can't imagine why I would've had any of those, in my prior history OR in my present one...

Alternatively, I'd be happy to keep a list of the scholarships you have on hand at the front desk and to help applicants fill them out as a kind of preliminary screening before we send them on over to you.
Please let me know.
On a less business-like note, I unfortunately have not received anything from Retrospec just yet but I'll be sure to keep an eye out.
