Paris? That sounds absolutely lovely. I've not been out of the country since I was a young girl. Your parents made a wise choice, it seems.

As for my family... Well, it's not that they aren't supportive. I know that there's a great deal of disappointment from them that goes unsaid, but for the most part, I feel that my trepidation is all my own. I am the first in a long line to choose to pursue a different calling, so the burden of expectation is always ever at bay.
