So I'm not a big laws guy, but I'm pretty sure walking around with a giant scythe would be against some kind of law, despite that being a shitty kind of weapon.

Does it make a difference, not-getting-arrested-wise, if that scythe is a book at the time?

[He'd say something about wanting it a month or two ago, but he can't lift it when it's a scythe, so it's not that useful.]

Also Retrospec doesn't care what your legal address is, but I don't think that should surprise anyone.

Apparently it's pretty common in my memories. Not scythes specifically, but books that turn into weapons.

No because I learned that past me used a scythe which is still a shitty excuse for a weapon.

Oh, absolutely! I won't argue that at all! But it is fun to swing one around!

How many times have you injured yourself doing that?

None, actually! I remembered how to fight with a scythe before I tried swinging it around and it's surprisingly easy!

But maybe I'm just lucky! ☆

I wouldn't recommend trying to use it before you've remembered how to fight with it, but here's hoping you'll gain the strength required and the memories needed to enjoy it!
