So I'm not a big laws guy, but I'm pretty sure walking around with a giant scythe would be against some kind of law, despite that being a shitty kind of weapon. Does it make a difference, not-getting-arrested-wise, if that scythe is a book at the time?

[He'd say something about wanting it a month or two ago, but he can't lift it when it's a scythe, so it's not that useful.]

Also Retrospec doesn't care what your legal address is, but I don't think that should surprise anyone.

Well... I guess that's not uncommon. It's seen as standard, though I think I heard it's not.

My parents speak Tsugaru-ben at home, and I've never been to Japan myself, so I haven't needed to learn much...

If you want to learn I'd be willing to practice with you. Though I don't speak Tokyo-ben either, it's probably a little closer to it.

Basically anything is closer than Tsugaru-ben except completely different languages.

I think there are other dialects that are pretty far from standard-like Japanese too. But what I know isn't as far off as Tsugaru-ben.

Kanagawa. It's generally not the heaviest dialect, and it sounds a lot like standard most of the time.

I’d say that depends on the memory itself.

Too bad there's no way to know before you get it. I could really go for having a preview and then the option to watch the whole memory or not.
