So I'm not a big laws guy, but I'm pretty sure walking around with a giant scythe would be against some kind of law, despite that being a shitty kind of weapon. Does it make a difference, not-getting-arrested-wise, if that scythe is a book at the time?

[He'd say something about wanting it a month or two ago, but he can't lift it when it's a scythe, so it's not that useful.]

Also Retrospec doesn't care what your legal address is, but I don't think that should surprise anyone.

The scythe's too heavy for me to lift.

Is there anyway to make it lighter?

I don't know? Weaponry isn't my specialty. But it's pretty much entirely metal.

I know there are some materials out there are look heavy but are pretty light.

I could go and try to look into it whenever I have the time!

You don't have to do that! It's not as if I need to defend myself on a regular basis anyway...

I'll be surprised if I manage to make it past the first semester.

There's not much you can do about that. Fight hard, or come up with a convincing fake illness that you can cite if you need to miss class.
