So I'm not a big laws guy, but I'm pretty sure walking around with a giant scythe would be against some kind of law, despite that being a shitty kind of weapon. Does it make a difference, not-getting-arrested-wise, if that scythe is a book at the time?

[He'd say something about wanting it a month or two ago, but he can't lift it when it's a scythe, so it's not that useful.]

Also Retrospec doesn't care what your legal address is, but I don't think that should surprise anyone.

i just mean in general i wonder how other people are getting away with carrying around weapons without being noticed.
if people around us aren't noticing a lot of the other weird stuff maybe they won't even notice your scythe?

That's a good question... I'm not noticing a lot of weird stuff, but I don't know how many weapons are being carried around as handbags or something.

It looks like a normal book that I can't actually read. You'd have to press me about that part and why I was carrying it around, but it's probably not going to come up.

on the other hand i am increasingly concerned about the weapons they are actually sending people in the mail.

I don't think the post office was even involved here. There's definitely things that wouldn't get past, like broken mirrors.

mostly i am trying to decide why anyone would think one of us would find a broken mirror or a giant weapon significant.

i have not decided if i should be worried or impressed that everyone forgot that part of themselves.
