just flooding this comm with idol boys

I'm sure others have tried it on here so forgive me for asking again but... is there a way to permanently discard what we've been sent?

I tried to throw away some clothes but they keep returning. There's also something that was fixed perfectly when it should have remained shattered. (Though that, at least, was an accident.)

[It wasn't an accident at all.]

It's no urgent matter [it really is] just something I'm curious about. I can't imagine being stuck with objects I can never be rid of.

Can you send them to a place out of sight? Some attic or storage center? I wonder if they'd return to you even then.

Ah, you're in the dorms, aren't you. A chest might work-- although now I'm curious. What is it about those clothes that makes you detest them so?
originallutece: the cancellation of galavant hurt us all (talk; you poor thing)

That's a very cryptic answer.

Going to clarify?

[oh fuck she's leveled up]

Fair enough. Though I'm curious now as to why it is a piece of clothing might worry others.

[She's not stupid, she can think of plenty of reasons how that might come about, but she's not going to guess.]

Can I assume one of those people is Sena?
originallutece: awful tough lately (talk; you've been acting)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-26 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd prefer rambling over cryptic and unhelpful answers, so well done.

[But this is interesting. Sena had been convinced he was a terrible person because of his memories; now this one is too. Then again, she considers, they've all had rather horrific flashbacks; it's not as if she's exempt from that harsh critique herself.]

An outfit I can understand (and I stills suggest a trunk; it wouldn't be gone, but at least out of sight); but how does a CD play into this?
originallutece: #bingate had a million opinions (talk; what the FUCK was that)

Sorry, like a singer?

What traits did he have that you don't desire?

Physically, emotionally or both?
originallutece: (talk; hmm--?)

Believe me, I quite understand.

It may help to lay each memory you received out, one by one. Glean as many details out of them as you can. Though I appreciate that might not help definitively solve any mysteries.

. . . and though I realize you might not want to hear this, I think you oughtn't try and get rid of those things Retrospec gifted you.
originallutece: mine are being unnecessarily drama and also smoking (talk; everyone has a vice)

Because running from them won't change anything. It won't change who you were, and it won't help solve your fears and anxieties. All it will do is keeping out of sight and mind, and while that may bring temporary relief, even that won't last.

Keep them. Study them. Understand them, and in that way, perhaps you can understand your other self-- and how to avoid becoming them.
originallutece: and aggressively British to boot (happy; what ho i'm super chuffed)

[Oh, well, isn't that charming? She's honestly a little touched by that, because there's no better way to endear yourself to her than with praise.]

I suppose we'll simply have to make up for it next semester, hm?
