I came home to find this guy in my apartment. Anyone know anything about owls? It's acting like it knows me! Like, IT'S WAVING!

I think it is more of he knows the "other me". But do you know what kind of care is needed to take care of owls, specifically an eagle owl? I'm pretty sure he's an eagle owl. Actually, I don't even know if it's a HE! How do you tell gender?

i dont know specific stuff
like i said ive never had an owl

but mostly birds tend to take care of themselves???
if youre not keeping it in a cage you dont have to worry about that stuff
and if theres no cage it can hunt for itself

but they sell owl treats and stuff at the pet store
and if you do keep it in a cage they sell owl food too
remember to change the paper in the bottom of the cage also

Well, there is a cage. However, when I found the owl, it was not in the cage. I suppose it just sleeps in it?

Does it matter what kind of paper or will old newspaper do?

newspaper is great!!!
yeah its just any paper you dont care about anymore lol

and it sounds fine for sleeping
but if its small dont close the door unless you have to
birds like to stretch their wings
