I came home to find this guy in my apartment. Anyone know anything about owls? It's acting like it knows me! Like, IT'S WAVING!

not really
you bring in a bird as big as that, though, and i'm sure they'd be clamoring for your attention

I gather they don't get much traffic over there.

dunno, can't say i really frequent the place, either.
just not many guys go around claiming a new eagle owl as a pet, though, you know?

I'm not sure how I feel about being the only one to get an exotic pet from Retrospec. Yeah, I'll keep it, but it's odd don't you think?

I wouldn't know, this is the first thing Retrospec has sent me.

you've gotta have heard of the other stuff though, right
people getting bent spoons, weird costumes, screwed up arms

Um...no. One of my friends got a phone and another a motorcycle. Though if we are going to talk about clothing, an acquaintance did get a freaky set of shoes. I haven't met anyone else who has gotten an animal though.

what made em freaky? did they have fangs or something?

[ considering his other offhand knowledge is just from browsing through older retrospec posts, he must've missed anything to do with that one... ]

The shoes wrapped up and around her legs and turn into boots. It scared the crap out of her and she couldn't get them off for a while.

Yeah, luckily she was able to find helping removing them.
