That's how I feel, yes. It's an illogical response lacking full empirical support, but I do think I know myself best of all, so I must take my feelings seriously as well.

You hardly have to justify yourself to me, as I'm not interested in judging you for it. It was more for clarification's sake than anything, I suppose, whether I agree with it or not.

I think we should all justify carefully what we do and do not believe about what is happening to us.

Without fully clarifying what evidence has lead us there, we're all just babbling hysterically.

Fair, though there's an argument to be made about how that's most of human interaction as a general rule.

[ Pitou laughs out loud. They've never been entirely comfortable as a human, have been derisive of it even while thinking themselves one... So now that that supposition has been undermined, there is something entertaining in picking at humanity's weaknesses. ]

Some. Some like the sounds of their voices more than others, whether or not they have something important to say.
