Koutarou Takao shared a photo. 10/10 near Viea Village

I found this on my kitchen table when I got home. Would anyone be able to help me identify it and possibly tell me how to keep it alive? I usually don't keep plants beyond bouquets that I get when I need to paint any, and I usually dry those once I'm done, so I have no clue how to take care of this thing. And I really don't want to kill it, it feels like it's very important.

((ooc: it's supposed to be a gloxinia, hopefully that's what the image shows? ))

Have you figured out the breed, yet? I'm curious to know what they might represent.

I have been told that it is called gloxinia.
Do you know a lot about what flowers represents?

I research it whenever I use flowers in my artwork, but I'm not exactly a student of the language of flowers, no.

I suppose that that's common. I know a few, but not very many. I'm not sure there are studies of the language of flowers as such, but maybe that depends on the country.

Neither had I. Nearly, but not exactly.
Yes! It's a very beautiful color, in person too.

I did get some instructions, and I’m going to pick up some on paper at the flower shop.

They’re apparently not supposed to be too difficult to take care of, at least.
They will probably light up the place.

Can't you just water it? That is what you're suppose to do with flowers, right?

Different flowers need different amount of water, and different amount of sun, so it's actually not as simple as that.

Here, I thought adding some water and some sun will be enough. I've been lied to!

There are some flowers you don’t need to put much thought or effort into, but a lot of them do have particular instructions. Unless one keeps such flowers, not everyone necessarily knows about it.

But then again, I'm someone who rather have them on my head than taking care of them!

It’s not for everyone. I don’t usually keep flowers either.

Like flower crowns and the sorts?
