Koutarou Takao shared a photo. 10/10 near Viea Village

I found this on my kitchen table when I got home. Would anyone be able to help me identify it and possibly tell me how to keep it alive? I usually don't keep plants beyond bouquets that I get when I need to paint any, and I usually dry those once I'm done, so I have no clue how to take care of this thing. And I really don't want to kill it, it feels like it's very important.

I have been told that it is called gloxinia.
Do you know a lot about what flowers represents?

I research it whenever I use flowers in my artwork, but I'm not exactly a student of the language of flowers, no.

I suppose that that's common. I know a few, but not very many. I'm not sure there are studies of the language of flowers as such, but maybe that depends on the country.

Well a cursory, depthless search, seems to associate them with "love at first sight" and "proud spirit", for whatever that's worth.

I suppose it ultimately depends on who sent it, to measure the intentions. A colleague, or possibly a lover!

No, I didn't. But it has nothing to do with that. She was the other me's wife.

It is. I would not have thought something like that was possible, before.

I'm not sure we can discount anything as truly 'impossible' anymore.

No, probably not. Yet things that cause surprise happens over and over.

I think I prefer these pleasant brand of surprises. Though I doubt I'll be getting any flowers from an unknown lover.
