so hey, anybody else think it's kind of weird all of this stuff is happening lately and the 13th is on a friday this month? i am just saying.

but because of that, i want to ask you guys something! superstitions. do you believe in them? do you have them? what do you think about the really common ones like broken mirrors, walking under ladders, oooor…you know, black cats crossing your path? and by crossing i mean maybe like crossing and weaving through your ankles and probably tripping you on the sidewalk while following you around town?

just wondering. for no reason whatsoever.

i thought it was a fog monster, but then it showed up during the day when the fog was gone. so i am pretty sure it is a real, mutant black cat.

that is about my best guess, yes.
it has four eyes.

That's really not normal!

believe me, i know that!
i thought maybe it was one of the ghosts or something from the fog at first because it had four eyes, but now the theory is it really is something from my old universe.
it still looks and acts like a normal cat otherwise, i think, but it just has that one mutation.

Something from your old universe?
If so, maybe you lived near a nuclear powerplant or something...

maybe...everything i remember so far is a normal location and normal neighborhood but i also remember cloning shenanigans.

we brought it inside which was maybe a bad idea but i wanted to see if it would calm down a little if i finally acknowledged it.
that might have also been a mistake.

i am getting a lot of memories back and most of them are making it pretty obvious that where I was before this was kind of stupid.

it (she, i guess?) seems to be a lot happier to be out of the fog and cold and stuff. i am still wondering why she came to me but she likes my room and dave fed her so we are stuck.
i guess i am just a little nervous because i have never taken care of a cat before, let alone a mutant.
like what am i supposed to say to a vet when i take her in for shots and stuff? "don't mind her eyes"???

yeah what is even up with that btw? i will never get how people not on the app just do not notice these things. is it like the fog where it obscures everything? memory mindwipe? or are we all just losing our minds?
(one of these is better than the others btw.)

I don't know. I don't understand it either. I'd say it's close to some kind of fog or spell, from how people act. Don't think it's us losing our minds though. It's far too real for that.

that is a better theory than the rest of the city losing theirs.
and besides, we were just like them until recently too.
people describe it as waking up and maybe that really is what it is.

she's adorable unfortunately. but we will definitely hang out sometime and i will bring her.

Yeah, and it'd explain why people who lose the app go back to not knowing either.
I've heard the waking up thing.
It's not a bad way to describe it...though it's a little dramatic.
