so hey, anybody else think it's kind of weird all of this stuff is happening lately and the 13th is on a friday this month? i am just saying.

but because of that, i want to ask you guys something! superstitions. do you believe in them? do you have them? what do you think about the really common ones like broken mirrors, walking under ladders, oooor…you know, black cats crossing your path? and by crossing i mean maybe like crossing and weaving through your ankles and probably tripping you on the sidewalk while following you around town?

just wondering. for no reason whatsoever.

...dave named her. she will not respond to anything else now.

she responds to that? seriously?

probably not. so i guess it will be a surprise for everyone if there is.
she responds mostly to mewpac or mew, which is weird since i am pretty sure that is not her name or even close to it, but it works.
if we can train her like you can train dogs, it might be cool.

you said you’re not sure if that’s her name though, did she just show up?

she seems pretty intelligent so it is worth a try? not that i have ever trained a dog either.
she just showed up but keeps hanging around. now that i am getting a better look at her though she seems a little more familiar. but not by much.

like the things retrospec sends us?

yeah something like that.
i cannot say if retrospec sent her to me but she seems to recognize me more than just the guy she tripped multiple times.
so either the cat is smarter than i am, or we've met before.

they send packages that are ours

but if they’re from a past life how are they still alive

i was definitely kidding about a zombie cat but now you raise a really good point.
she has a heartbeat and everything so she IS alive.
then again you could probably ask the same thing about us.

our past selves are i guess

which is still really, really weird to think about.
i mean duh i know WE are not dead.
but supposedly those past selves are also us?
that is the part i am really not sure about and how it all works.
someone who has been on this network longer than me would know better probably.

the closest thing i could relate it to is actual past lives
you know how some people believe in that reincarnation stuff
but when i asked dave he said it was like that but not

and he would say that, he has an understanding of this kind of thing a lot of people do not.
i thought maybe it was reincarnation too.
dave and souji said they were told it was like reconstruction which is even weirder.
mostly because it does not explain the items and stuff. like. are those reconstructed, too? are they just holding onto a big box of our stuff to hand out free presents?
it brings in a whole "what is real and what is not" question.

only a few people and even then i doubt its the real them
they won’t show their faces to us so easily, especially when half of us want to corner them the first chance we get
it’s not off the wall to count the meetings as holograms or something more

exactly.
so then it would be about finding where, exactly, those holograms are being projected from and stuff and where they are really watching us from.
that is the part i do not know yet.

supposedly they can at least watch the network and stuff so they are probably looking at this and laughing. which sucks.
but sure. name a time and a place and i can be there. the only way we are going to figure stuff out is working together anyway.
