Do any of you keep having memories of someone who's never been in your life?

I keep seeing visions of someone that I can tell is really important to my memory/past/alternate universe self, but I don't know anything about them. I've never had anyone like that. But even though I've never met them, every weird memory I've gotten seems to be about this person, so I think they must be really important.

Am I supposed to feel like something's missing? I figured this is a pretty common thing, so...

You make a good point. I've been trying to draw a line between me and the me from my memories, because we'll never cross, whether it's alternate universes or past selves or something fictional created by Retrospec. But my life isn't that much different from the one in my memories, while some people's are the complete opposite.

I've never thought of it as a good sign, but you're probably right. It could be much worse than this.

It's something I've had cause to think about often lately. I'm one of those whose life is drastically different from what I've been recalling, and as such it's something that I feel is in my best interests to keep as separate as possible.

Most I know are like that, really. I'm somewhat surprised to hear that yours is apparetly so similar.

I see. I can't relate to you in that regard, but I'm sorry your memories are probably tough to deal with. Keeping a clear divide between them is even more important in cases like that.

I haven't had that many memories though, maybe four or five. So the worst could be yet to come.
