Sakuya Haibara Ah, I see. Well, onions do require a decent amount of water, but they recover well from a lack of it, so going a few days without water shouldn't truly kill them.
Sakuya Haibara Peas need almost no real care aside from ensuring water supply.
Sakuya Haibara If you set carrots up, you can allow them to grow through some of the cold and that'll take care of most weed issues, but they do require a bit of pre-work, and fertilizing after they're growing.
Sakuya Haibara I think it's doable if you're out often, however.

Sakuya Haibara Well, I'm not worried too much. Plants are just plants - it's not like having a living animal.
Sakuya Haibara If they die, it's just a lesson as to what to do next time.
Sakuya Haibara Still, I think if you could set up some kind of automatic watering system, it'd be for the best. Otherwise, some fertilizer and a little attention should be all they need.

Ryoga Hibiki I don't know if I could afford anything like that... I'm working on a student's budget, after all. But I would rather that my plants not die in any case. They should be extra handy for making a quick meal at home. Maybe a stir fry.

Sakuya Haibara They have those... watering bulb things? If that's also not outside your budget.
Sakuya Haibara Otherwise, I'm not sure what alternatives there are. Google may know.
Sakuya Haibara Of course, it'll be a few months before the vegetables will grow enough to be edible, but it's worth the wait.

Sakuya Haibara Yes I do. I have a greenhouse and everything in my little back yard.
Sakuya Haibara Destroyed my childhood dream of having a dog, but it's worth it in other ways.

Sakuya Haibara But no. It's a small house, and so is the greenhouse. The greenhouse takes up a goodly portion of the yard, as well.
